A wall cabinet for my Chinese Hand Planes. Made from Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) with Walnut inlay and Spalted Maple panels.

A very nice cabinet for some classy hand planer tools. The inlay panels kind of look like zebra, and the back boards look like cedar wood to me. Very classy! ~Suzanne

You have some sharp eyes. The back is aromatic Red Cedar, I just forgot to mention it.

You did a very nice job on this cabinet and it will be a good place to store some tools and supplies. It will help you keep your shop organized and will also help protect whatever you place in it.

Very beautiful cabinet. I love the spalted maple and have to admit I’m a bit jealous, since it is very difficult to get hold of that where I live.
