Fans of the Woodsmith Shop on PBS might recognize this clock. Made of nice riftsawn straight grain white oak. Mortise and tenon construction. Hard to see but the top is beveled. The through tenons in the top are false. The face is maple with endgrain oak accents. Gel stain with satin poly topcoat. The art tile is purchased online from Motawi tile works. They have a selection of beautiful 4×4 hand glazed tiles in the arts and craft style. Plans for this are available at woodsmith.com.

Very nice looking mantel clock—I especially like the clock face and the butterfly tile!
