These are some treasure chests I made for my nephews a couple years back. One is made of torched white oak, and the other out of mahogany. I’m posting them in respnse to the forum question by Yellowtruck75 a couple of days ago.

I like the treasure “chest” idea. I’ve made several treasure boxes for children. Your design will make them enjoyable for many years. Thanks for sharing; and welcome to LJs.

Very good. I like the traditional treasure chest style also.

Great chests. All kids need a place to put their treasures.

Keep it up.

These are very sharp looking and I like the way that you have made them. Good job.

Well done woodfella – I like the raised underside to the lid – register the lid when closing.
