this is the updated version of my V-Drum Sander
1hp @ 3400rpm (recommended speed is 1750

works like a charm.

Looks good.

I’ve also read that you want the drum speed at about 1700 rpm and, of course, most motors run at 3400. Is there any reason why you can’t put a larger pulley on the drum so the drum runs slower than the motor?
