I was given some free 6/4 poplar so I made a bunch of porch rockers, I plan to paint them when it stops raining. Once I got the design I wanted and made a few jigs for the legs and slats I can make one a day now from start to finish. I like the ones that lean back farther but my wife likes to sit up a little more. It sure feels good to get back in the shop after the winter we have had. Thanks for looking

Great. Some very nice rockers. Where did the plans come from.

Very nice rockers, you have a lot of sitting to do now. Enjoy them.

excellent design and build… looks like they be real comfortable. I’d probably share your wife’s preference… a little more upright… really impressed that you can get one done a day… nice going.

Great job! Now all you need is a little sun and an ice tea.

Nice looking rocking chairs. If I could make one of anything in a day, let alone a rocking chair, I’d be thrilled. Even if it was a 24 hour day. lol

Best,

Now don’t get too comfy in those, you don’t want to be too busy rocking and not woodworking. I could see myself sitting on the porch, with a good cigar…sitting back and relaxing. Great work on those!
