I made this one out of Sapele and a touch of maple for the canopy. In the past I have used the actual wings worn on our uniforms but I decided to try carving…..I am very pleased with the look. I finished up with a few coats of Arm-R-Seal with light sanding between coats. She is ready to commission and get underway.
