Got my pendant chuck last week and I am so excited by the possibilities…I have already sketched out tons of ideas on paper. These are the first few.

Details #1
Size: 1.5” dia x 1/4” thick
Wood: Purpleheart w/aluminum and coffee grounds

Details #2
Size: 1 5/8” dia. x 3/8” thick
Wood: Bocote w/aluminum

Details #3
Size: 1.5” dia. x 3/16” thick
Wood: Bocote

Finish on all is Myland’s friction polish and Beall buffing system

Pretty neat. I’ve never seen a pendant chuck, but I take it from your work that it allows you to easily mount small objects off center. Does it require any kind of tennon or for small objects like this do you just use tape? BTW, Good wood choice for this.

Nice grain on that pendant must of been tough to work the finish into those grooves. Nice work.
Where did you buy a pendant chuck?

Beatuiful. I think that bocote makes really pretty jewelry, the grain really looks awesome.
I will have to look in to a pendant chuck, can you tell me any more about it?
