Cherry Blanket Chest

Here is a blanket chest I made for my daughter’s wedding. I cut the dovetails by hand and with the herringbone pattern it was a challenge. It is cherry finished with waterlox.

You have out Shakered the Shakers on this one. Beautifully simple and understated design. A classic.

Well that is just awesome! Great design, great wood choice and beautiful execution! Really like it. Haven’t seen a chest this nice since my first girlfriend in college. :)
