My last hide a gun tissue box didn’t have a way to lock it so I came up with this idea to make it so it’s a bit tricky to take the top of the box off. It requires a side push movement to unhook the box off the base. I’m not sure you could say this is child safe but it’s sure dose make it so it won’t come off unless you know how to unlatch it.
The box is made with Cherry with a Maple decor strip and a few coats of Danish oil.

Where to buy the Spring Plunger set screws

and Half Dog Point set screws.

I’m not sure how long these will be available on ebay.

I knew you would figure out a way to lock it, Tony.
Man, you are one smart guy,
Great job and congratulations.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
