I participated in HokieKens screwdriver shaft purchase last spring and finally found the time to turn some handles.
I had some Padauk, Sapele, and Bubinga cutoffs laying around that were the right size so glued them up and turned them out. I used Padauk for the Phillips, Bubinga for the straight and Sapele for the square drives. I was really impressed with the quality of the Grace drivers.

Nice Bruce. I’ve been procrastinating on turning handles for mine as well.

Nice work. Where did you get the kits from?

You’ve certainly done a very nice job on the screwdrivers Bruce, almost look too good to use in the shed.

Lee
The Ferrules came with the blades. I did use copper pipe on the square drives just to see how they looked.

Awesome work Bruce! I have some Paduak and Bubinga set aside to handle mine too. Looks like it’ll be a while before I get mine done but I’m glad to see you’re on the ball ;-P

Would you add the tag grace usa drivers to this project? Trying to have all of the projects that came from the purchase come up under a single search. When we get a few more folks that post them, I’m going to send the link to Dan at Grace to show him the awesome stuff y’all are doing with their tools.

Well done!
