Also finished today, this one is 11 1/2” x 4” and is a beautiful curly grain,
Sanded to 400 and finished with several coats of W O P.
The walls are 1/8 thick.

Nice compliment to the plate. That grain has similarities to our curly Maple. Nice turning Bob.

Thank you everyone, I tried to core the middle out of this blank but the wood was soooo hard I had to turn it all into shavings.
But I love what finished up.
