This is a small jar that I turned out of piece of firewood that I noticed was spalting. Both of my boys received metal tooth jars for them to put their teeth in for the Tooth Fairy. Now that I have gotten into turning I thought I would make my nieces and nephews jars. Fun little project and the Tooth Fairy thanked me for making her job a little easier then digging under the pillow :)

As always, thanks for looking.

Nice little box – the Tooth Ferry should be pleased. What makes the project even sweeter is that it was rescued from the firewood pile. Always good to save some wood.

No such thing as scrap! That looks great!

Fantastic idea! It would make the tooth fairy very happy. Great save from the firewood pile.

Keep it up.

Cool idea, and nice use of ‘scrap’.
