Hey Guys and Gails: I have a bird house i just made. There is a small contest at work to get people to make bird house for the birds that live in the woods around our plant. So i thought i would enter and make a sort of fancy bird house. I made it out of cedar and the post were made out of popalar. I put my first coat of poly on it just seconds ago. I wanted to get it on lumberjocks so here it is. I made a litle door on it so it could be cleaned out.

Ron you asked if i made the shingles, yes i did i cut the blanks out and then sanded on my belt sander a angle most wooden shingles have. The shingles took me the longest, however i liked that look to it. Thanks to all of you for the wonderful comments.
