Made with anitque pine. Scroll sawn dovetails. Cut nail attached bottom. Finish, shellac and wax.

Fantastic box. Great design and outstanding joints. I think I would have used that wormy piece on the bottom for the top though. I really like what mother nature does to wood. Just my opinion.

Great looking box. The angles of the dovetails look great. The simplicity of the box makes it really appealing.

Beautiful.

And … timely. I’ve been looking at salvage and beetle-kill pine (Ponderosa and Lodgepole).

Very good to know that … the right boards … in the right hands … can look so good!
