Just completed this bookcase. Constructed with quartersawn oak throughout.
Finished with Minwax provincial stain and Cabot wipe on satin poly.
I borrowed ideas from two different plans and added a few ideas of my own.
Turned the knobs and after 4 tries I ended up with two!

Very nice Carl. The color is excellent. Is that side-table in the pic one of yours as well?

The end table was not made by me. We purchased two end tables and a coffee table a few years ago (before I started woodworking_

Nice bookcase that appears to be well built.

I do like the QSWO!

Very nice, Carl. And you did a great job on those door knobs, even if it did take many tries. Beautiful.

Really nice knobs (can I say that?)... I am eyeing the end table next to the cabinet too!

That’s very nice! Did you make the end table too? Can you post a closer photo of the finish? I would like to make something similar to NYW’s mesquite bookcase, but right now we don’t have the room for a monster like that. What plans did you use?
