Another project that incorporates elements of art with craftsmanship. The plaque itself is paduak, and has some small worm-holes for authenticity. Thie chicadee is made up from different colored woods (red oak, walnut, cherry, maple, mahogany).

Great job. This was my first inarsia piece made a couple and donated them to raffle fundraiser. Great project.

Beautiful work Lew!
Living back in Illinois we had a lot of the chickadees around, they always looked like the bottom was dipped in paint.
