Wide Board Endgrain cutting board. Nice grain on the cherry just had to utilize it by cross cutting it, numbering it and aligning the pattern. Sanded to 400 grit.

I’m wondering if you had the same experience I did. When you used the cutting board did you notice food leaving a residue or staining in the wood that won’t come out? I’ve made all other boards from maple and walnut but never had the issue. I used mineral oil to protect it. Just curious, thanks.
