SAVE THE CHILDREN

Drawn in sketchup this a mockup of my proposed entry, design is based on my previous cutting board.

Mockup is 11 inches square. Strips are 1/8 inch. small squares are 1 inch. longest parts are 3.5 inches
Invision the material as Wenge and Yellowheart.

Not sure how many I will make or how I will market them, but this is a start.

Dan -

Very cool design! I like the small bands within the larger bands.

Dan… gourgeous board! I love the design…will have to steal it! Really great Sketchup model too. The textures are great..that would look really cool if you rendered it!

thought I’d offer up this sketchup model to whoever wants it.

I’ve found it is easy to change the material combinations … good website get jpegs for wood textures.
This guy has photos of about every kind of wood possible.

Dan, this is a Great Design, reminds me of a woven strapped chair seat. Totally Rad, I really love the contrasting wood and the various sizes define the piece. My Son has been looking for a different type of chess board. Well we’re getting closer. Keep them projects coming.
