I had some poplar sitting around and a nice live-edge cherry cut-off from the liquor cabinet I had made. I was practicing my dovetails and experimenting with spacing. All the corners are a different dovetail pattern. The bottom is cherry wood strips shiplapped. All the rabbits and dadoes on all pieces were done with a plow plane except the one toward live edge on the top which was done with a router (hand) plane. All dimensioning / planing was done by hand but resawing was done on the bandsaw. I really enjoyed using the plow plane in this project. The finish is BLO with paste wax.

I was excited about that edge and the wood itself had a great highly figured look
