I finally did a little bit of work to my plane till. It used to house my water sharpening system, but now I have too many hand planes, so I rearranged it a bit. It’s no Studley tool chest, but it’s a start. At least my #8 has a home now.

Wow! This is a very nice tool cabinet and a great collection of tools. It will be a fine addition to your shop.

Love the size of this – do you have a link to any plans or dimensions or anything?

I don’t have any plans for it. It’s 27W X 35.5H X 13.5D. The case and door are dovetailed together for strength. The drawers are free floating so you can pull them out and place them on the bench. I’m about to build another one with a reversed door to place right next to this one. The new one will have a slightly different interior and hold my Tormek system and sharpening supplies.

Have your say...
