It’s pretty much a duplicate of the last project I posted, but this time I had the courage to attack the stash of actual stained glass I got for Christmas.
This time I captured the glass panel with a channel routed into the frame, but unlike last time, I left the bottom of the glass panel exposed. I experimented with back lighting, but nothing is really strong enough to penetrate except sunlight, so the show position is with the lid open and the top facing a sunlight window.
Hemlock for the box, Mahogany for the pyramid buttons. Felt liner. Sam Maloof oil wax finish. Thanks for looking.
