Needed a clock out on the patio so I started contemplating what I wanted and stumbled upon this general idea and wondered how I could make it with my Ringmaster.

The light color one is poplar and walnut with the square spokes set into grooves routed into the back using a jig I made for other Ringmaster bowls. Then I got the idea to try dowels set into the side of the body and that’s where the dark one came from. It’s walnut with oak dowels.

Kept the poplar one and sent the walnut down the street to a neighbor who used to own a lobster boat since the wife person said it looked like an old-time ships wheel.

Comments and critiques are welcomed as always and thanx for looking.

Awesome design, sure it wasn’t easy to make. Beautiful wood contrast.
