I’ve been wanting to make a zig-zag bowl, and finally got around to do it !! The glue up was very tedious. For the zig and the zag there is no room for errors.

I searched youtube to find the right video to get me in the right direction.

The bowl is about 7 1/2 ” D
and about 5 ” H

The bowl consists of black walnut, hard maple, and mahogany

The finish is a mix of – BLO,poly, and paint thinner, brush on ,wipe off 4 – 5 coats

I took this to a Christmas gift exchange, and it moved ( changed hands 10X ) these people went nuts !,
I ended up with a bottle of Jack !
