My wife and I picked up the Gold Framed mirror from Big Lots a few weeks back know that I would build a frame for it. We just liked the size and for $10 it’s tough to beat. We will reuse it’s frame for a different projects anyway. I took some 1×3 lumber not good lumber it was some of the cheap untreated lumber from the big box store. It was the crap stuff. $1.97 a stick.. Anyway.. I cut it up more for practice since I had never really built a frame before and I wasn’t sure how well my miters would work out or how the rabbeting function of my jointer would work but I liked it so much after it was built I went a head and finished it.
