I recently seen a picture online of this step stool & decided to copy it I just cut 2 dados for the small step to slide in.

Hi Bob,

I think this is truely a lovely piece from a design and interpretation point of view. You’ve taken a fairly common basic idea, and added a lot of yourself into this. The result, to my eye, is a very refined piece that’s many notches above a simple step stool.

You did what I did on a step stool before your angle in the front are too long and they dont match and the ons at the rear are too short making it very easy to tip bachwards….just stand on it and reach out and it will tip….......sorry but I had to tell you
