oval swivel jewelry box made out of hard and soft wood glued together . the wood varies from pine to cherry and they are glued together
the size of the box is 8 1/4 inches long , 5 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high
the top compartment is 4 3/4 inches long 3 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep
the drawer is made out of cherry and is 3 inches long 4 1/4 inches wide and 1 inch deep
clear coated and is in the natural color

Good looking box. But to finish it off I would put some felt on the bottom or even better some flocking on the inside. Just did a couple myself and they really made the boxes stand out and made them more professional looking.

I have put felt in the compartments and I built a lot of them the person I build this box for chooses the felt color puts the personal touch on the item

Nice design. It looks like you used some type of screw for your hinge pins. When I make swivel hinges like this I use wooden golf tees and plenty of Johnson past was for lubrication.
