I made this shelf as a birthday present for my wife. The wood is eastern white pine, it came from a tree in my yard that was struck by lightning. I fell the tree, sawed it up on my bandsaw mill, and dryed it for a year. comments please

looks great to me,,how are the boards for the back put together if you don’t mind me asking? glue joint, tongue and grove..I like the detail on the top front..

The back is 1/2” tongue and grove. The top detail was inspired by Greene and Greene.
