I finally got around to making the base for the router table top I bought from Rockler a few months ago. I got tired of using it by suspending it between my table saw and assembly table. Nothing special or fancy with the construction since it’s really a quick and dirty project. Took about 1.5 days. I might add a couple doors later on.
The perfect spot in my shop for it was being used as storage for scraps. Now that the router table in there instead, I have to figure out where to put the scraps. :P

Now you can use your shiny new router table to make a scrap bin LOL
-- - Jei, Rockford IL - When in doubt, spray it with WD-40 and wrap it with duct tape. The details will attend to themselves.

I really like this and would like to build one similar. Can you share some photos of the back and where the router mounts? Did you do dust collection from under the top?
Looks good.

Cool project, by the scrap pile I see someone has been making cutting boards as well!

I hate throwing away scraps too. Good idea about replacing them instead.
Good job. Shop projects always are always special.
