Storage for new baby

I made this after my wife suggested we needed more storage for our new daughter. After spending a small fortune on the crib and dresser I proposed she print a few pictures of what she had in mind and I would make it. When I saw what she wanted I knew it could be done for a hell of a lot less than the $2400 price tag the furniture store was asking! About a month and $400 later it was done. This project sparked my interest in woodworking again after an eight year vacation. The feeling of making something from a pile of wood, is…well you all know, like nothing else!

Looks good to me. Woodworking is like falling off a bicycle—you never forget how to do it. :)

What species is it? And the finish is?

Baby storage? How many babies can you store in that thing?

How many baby’s do you have. Looks like you could supply a nussary. Great project.

This is a great looking storage unit. I may need to do something like this. Great job!
