table base finished.

just finished this table. had to let it dry about a year. its pinned together with dowle rods,screws,and glue.

i used angle to hold the glass top from tipping off. got the top at a flea market for $5.00 bucks, what a deal.

Looks nice. How stable is it? With all that glass weight so high I am just wondering how easily it tips over.

warren, the base is very heavy. we have used it to eat on. very stable. thanx for the comment.

That is good to know. Making something that tall and that narrow is always a risk but knowing how it feels as well as how it looks makes all the difference.
