How’s everybody doing I haven’t posted or visited the site in a long time I had a long break where I became engulfed in trying to master photography. I finally got the itch to do some woodworking again and finished a project that I started long ago and knew could be great. This is a wave (actually three the last two were completed years ago) carved from a branch from a Maple tree, I used dye for the water color and paint for the foam. It took a long time to complete due to I suck at painting foam and had to do it six times which meant sanding off reapplying the dye and painting the foam it sucked but I couldn’t leave it with the foam looking stupid. The foam is still not what I had in my head but I couldn’t do it again and it’s ok for now.
Nice to be back Roger.

Roger,

We’re glad you decided to get back to the woodworking. Thanks for sharing these outstanding carvings. Your painting/dyeing is fabulous. We hope you don’t wave good-bye again any time soon!

Its always great to connect with some of the original members

Nice work as usual!

A question do you remember what the first five projects posted on this site were?
They seem to be missing, and all the inquiries I made effected nil reply!
