Very nice, I like the added touch of crown moulding. I’ve been plannig on making something similar to this. How do you plan on mounting yours?

Thanks yall! Actually the top is two 3/4” planks with similar routing’s on it. I used a smaller roman (I think it is called Roman) then used a larger Roman for the bottom. Had to do some finagling to make it look like one solid piece.

As far as hanging it…. Think I am going to do it like the one I made for my wife. I inset key hole brackets (similar to this Key Hole Mounting Plate ) into the back. Then just screwed a 2 1/2” screw into the stud and make sure it is out just enough. The tricky part is aligning up the key hole brackets on the shelf to where you want to hang them. I lucked out my first try and nailed it first time. Hope I’m that lucky this go round with my sisters…lol
