This version of the Thorsen Table was published by “Popular Woodworkiing” some three years ago. I liked the design so well that i decided to make mine as close to the published version as possible. The wood is Honduras Mahogany, with four coats of Watco Natural Danish Oil and a couple of coats of Watco Satin Wax.

nice design…i like how you did the ebony in almost a pyramid instead of the softer pillowed look.. I like it a lot more…makes it look extremely clean and crisp…
