This version of the Thorsen Table was published by “Popular Woodworkiing” some three years ago. I liked the design so well that i decided to make mine as close to the published version as possible. The wood is Honduras Mahogany, with four coats of Watco Natural Danish Oil and a couple of coats of Watco Satin Wax.

Very well done. I really like this table in Mahogany. the ebony is just the right touch

nice design…i like how you did the ebony in almost a pyramid instead of the softer pillowed look.. I like it a lot more…makes it look extremely clean and crisp…

Well done Dave, the wood is absolutely first rate and the finish just bring out all the grain. It’s already showing the aged patina characteristics. Please forward for a closer look. Nice work…Blkcherry
