Santa’s helper was busy before Christmas making more salad bowls for some of the lady’s of the family. The bowls were a big hit and everyone loved them. I made the three in the first picture and the other two pictures are to just show some detail of the bowls. The green wood was a natural color in the board the segments were cut from. I think green wood came from a piece of Popular. The darker wood is Mahogany and I really like the way it contrasts with the lite woods. The wood for this projects was rescued from a cabinet shop scrap bin that was destined to be burned. Bowls were finished with shellac with a final coat of food safe wax to finish them off. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the comments. I enjoy making these bowls and giving them away to see the reactions of the recipients reaction to how pretty the bowls are.
