Walnut bowl turned from some firewood. This is my first small-er aperture hollow form.

Walnut FIREWOOD!?!? That’s a pure crime no matter how small or mangled looking – nice save!

i love the smoothness of it. if you polyed the inside it you could make a soup bowl:)

Thanks for the comments! The finish is just a few coats of Mylands. I didn’t finish the inside as I didn’t have a means for safely sanding/buffing in there. Hoping to get a system to do that in the near future.

Any tips/feedback on which tooling system works best for finishing the inside of small aperture bowls would be appreciated.
