Cabinets from “orange” oak to bombay mahogany. Countertop was light blue. I painted it for a black granite look. New backsplash. Built a header over the window and installed light. New sink and faucet. Raised cabinet above stove for microwave.

That should keep you on the good side of the control for a while at least.

WOW …... this is one of the best transformations that I have seen in a long time ….. a lot cheaper then granite …what did you topcoat with ?..... GREAT JOB : )
