I made this art supplies caddy from walnut and maple for a co-workers daughter for Christmas. Her specifications were for a caddy about 2 feet long which would have big holes for crayons and little holes for pencils and things, and somewhere to keep paper that could fit on a desktop. Came up with a design from there and then spent an awful lot of time gluing and drilling with forstner bits.

Finished it with semi-gloss polu, spray glued some felt in the front and put felt casters on the bottom.

Very nice! Well thought out and built. I bet getting all those forstner holes drilled was no small task!

With the exception of waiting for glue to dry, yeah, the holes were the longest part. Took a good few hours to get them all done!

This is a wonderful project and will be a great organizer for your shop. Your artistic supplies will have a fine home in this piece. Nice work.
