I got the spiral bug awhile back( watch out it can be catching!) and I can’t seem to stop. Honduran Redheart with cocobolo end inlays..rope spiral pattern

Nice, now you just need a little desk stand for it to keep it from rolling off the desk every time you set it down.

How do you do the spiral pattern, i’ve always wondered about that but haven’t really looked into it. Is it difficult to pick up?

thanks for the comments. To my knowlege there are 2 ways to make this rope pattern (in this size range on a pen or cane or whatever) One: by hand..check out Bill Bowers website & book Second : An ornamental mill if you have deep enough pockets..
