saw this table on the woodwhisperer and thought it would work great for my table saw outfeed table. one other important consideration is that im limited on space so unfortuantly it will be used as a assembly table also so it had to be extremely sturdy. Marc did an excellent job in his design and it is a really sturdy table. the table is built out of project ply purchased at homedepot and finished with one coat of minwax waterbased poly and two coats of minwax oil based poly after the first was completely dry. once the coats have dried for several days i may wet sand and buff it out and apply several coats of wax to allow lumber to slide across it easier.

I like it, too. Is the whole thing plywood or is there dimension stock supporting the top and lower shelf?
