the rings went so well,i thought i’d try bangles as a quick experiment, these were 1 piece solid oak.
i also have a 3-layerd one gluing up now i’ll turn will be matching sets. maybe earrings/pendants after that.
these took a bit longer than the rings. Definitely longer than they should have these 3 took an hour as i was futzing around. .bet they could be done in dozen+ batches in Well under 10 minutes per piece, with a few jigs made up.guess you wouldnt even need to lathe them really, but that’s the fun part to me.

cut out with a 2.5” hole saw on DP. i need a few more sizes.i’ll stick to S,M,L,XL.there are actually like 13 standard-sizes! need to round-over the inside with router BEFORE turning next time,LOL. free-handed it and it was sloppy. mineral oil did a decent job of hiding that ;) !
the ring in the pic is purpleheart ,and i’m surprised it hasnt broken as its solid, guess it’s thick enough.

Great job. Nice to see you expanding into othe sizes of rings. These are HUGE! haha Looking good.

Keep it up.
