Thanks, Roger. Nothing to compare with your work, but it is made out of wood and that is all that matters. By The Way, I’m in the process of making another batch of those small ring boxes. Everybody wants one….LOL. I’m sure this is true about most of us on Lumberjocks, but people are always saying, “Hey, why don’t you sell them.”. They don’t realize that there is no way people would pay for the time and effort it takes to make our stuff…..unless it is a pre arranged deal.

Nice projects – I find the wine carrier and the frame most interesting.

These are delightful! The wine carrier is an especially cool idea. Keep them coming!

That’s a real “corker”, a real nice concept and we’ll done!

Andy my good man;

I have not been on here for awhile now. Right after Christmas, I had my right hip replaced. Long story that goes back to a car accident some 25 years ago. It put me out for 6-7 weeks and have recently felt like turning the lights back on in the shop once I could walk without the cane. Than I lost my mother in law which has been tough for me, my wife, and the family. Anyway… I was looking at some of your projects and came across the wine carrier. I love it!! and also the beautiful picture with the carvings! I could not carve my way out of a wet cardboard box !! lol You have some really nice projects and I just wanted you to know that. Keep up the great work! I love seeing your projects!

Take care and God Bless

Steve

Hey, Steve,

I remember you telling me about the hip surgery…..scares me to death. I’ve been nursing a bad knee for over four years now; I’ll put it off as long as I can.

I was thinking about you and your tag line just the other day. I’m in the process of making another picture frame with some of that “ginger bread”; anyway, I measured a side three times and after it was cut, it was still off 1/2”.....I have no idea how that happened, but I was sitting there saying a few choice words about what I was looking at and recalled your, “Measure twice and cut once”; heck, I said. Steve would just love this…...LOL.

Thanks for the kind words about my projects. The answer is a Hegner Scroll Saw.
