this is a piece of east indian rosewood with a yellow heart finial, the hollow form is 6 inchs tall by 3 inchs across the whole piece with finial is 9 inchs tall. walls are hollowed to a little over 1/8 inch finished with tung-oil and wax. all comments welcome. -- Roper - Master of sawdust-www.coloradocustomworks.com

Love the shape of the vessel, color, grain are fantastic, but not sure of the finial, takes my attention away from the main aspect.

I like it a lot. Nice job. I may have gone with a high gloss finish instead. Then again I may have regretted that decision after the fact because it looks good the way it is.
