east indian rosewood hollow form

this is a piece of east indian rosewood with a yellow heart finial, the hollow form is 6 inchs tall by 3 inchs across the whole piece with finial is 9 inchs tall. walls are hollowed to a little over 1/8 inch finished with tung-oil and wax. all comments welcome.

Lovely little turning. I bet you were worried it might disenigrate while hollowing it out.

Love the shape of the vessel, color, grain are fantastic, but not sure of the finial, takes my attention away from the main aspect.

I like it a lot. Nice job. I may have gone with a high gloss finish instead. Then again I may have regretted that decision after the fact because it looks good the way it is.
