Wooden tags for Christmas gifts

I thought that I would try making some tags for the Christmas gifts out of maple. I cut it thin and sanded it down smooth. I asked my wife to do the writing for me, she has such beautiful penmanship. After it was dry I gave them just one coat of tung oil.

I really like the way it came out. I hope they like them.

What, you couldn’t make wooden ribbon to wrap them? Just kidding! Neat idea. They came out great.
