Today was my daughters baby shower at my wife”s best friends house. As a parting gift I made her this bowls and filled wit with her favorite “Dove’s Milk Chocolate” hearts. She was very happy and we had a great day visiting, laughing and catching up.

Beautiful! You really brought out the beauty in the wood. Elm is one of the prettiest domestic woods for projects like this.

Thank you for all of the great comments. The bottom is rounded except for a flat spot the size of a quarter for it to sit on. I’ll work on getting some more posted.

Finish was wipe on polly, then to the buffer, tripoli, white diamond, carnuba
