Here is my first attempt at a jewelry box for my cousin. This is based on the design by Bob Dickey available at Woodcraft. I choose a different wood scheme based on availability and just because I thought it might contrast well. The four corner uprights were made from Mahogany, the drawer slides from black walnut, the drawers from aromatic red cedar and the top from birds eye maple. Finishing was done with six coats of rubbing varnish. I hope she likes it.

This is amazing, from your choice of woods to the high style and the finish work inside the drawers. Really impressive, ESPECIALLY for a first box.
