hi this is a jurley box that i made for valentine our foster kid she is 11 years old i made it for her birthday with was on the 14 valentine s day as well as a birthday present it was a bonding project as she helped to design it and do some sanding and polishing the pounding exercise worked out very nicely not so sure about the jurley box we had fun downing it

it is 14 inches height by 9 wide by 5 deep it is finished with sand and seal and bee s wax

I’m guessing that this is spalted maple – but I am not sure. It could be sycamore or hackberry. Can you tell us what wood this is?
