This is a flame birch box with a birds-eye maple top. The ribbon handle is a combination of cherry with Quina as the outside lamination, and was wrapped and recessed into the box sides. Quina was also used for the corner points. A majority of the wood is from Maine, except of course for the Quina. The finish is natural tung oil.

I love the flame birch. The integrated handle is the icing on the cake. Great design.

Great looking box, love the wood choice. The handle looks like ribbon candy.
