Since I’m in project posting mode, I figured I should put something out here that was a little more difficult than my wood thread projects.

I totally gutted our kitchen, removed a wall, laid new floor (after leveling), and made all the cabinets. Doors, slide out drawers, pantry shelves and drawer fronts were all out of hard Maple. The cabinet boxes are all 3/4” Maple veneer plywood. I was employed at the time I began this project, so it was drawn out over several years. Just ask my wife. On second though, don’t remind her!

Stainless and black are in-style, but we prefer white. The wife says stainless shows grandkids finger prints! Newer stainless appliances don’t show the smudges like the earlier ones, but we stuck with white. (whatever makes her happy!!)

thanks

Great Job. This is every bit as hard as anything posted on this site and doing it in your “spare time” is amazing too. Interest choice and use of open shelf design as well as lighted glass doors. I really like the step levels on the top of the cabinets too. The pull out pantry is fantastic.

Well done.

I am in the planning stages of a renno on my kitchen, it is to be hoped that I won’t be at it for years, but then again it is ME doing the work so it may be a while :-) A great looking kitchen.
