Extensible front door

Made this extensible front door in the end of summer.
Made out of pine.
Glue-laminated the posts to get bigger thickness (2 1/4 or 58mm) and to get straight grain for showing faces.
Used two-chamber glass packets, 25mm insulation between the wooden panels and double seals.
Unfortunately I do not have a picture where the walls are finished.

Preliminary estimation was 40 hours of work, but ended up in 60+ due to extra time for fitting all the moldings on both sides and finishing (tinted Caparol Capadur UniversalLasur).

Good looking door. Great job!

Interesting (and beautiful) project! Can you shed a little light on the hinge configuration?
