Awesome table!
I used to make barrel furniture about 15-20 years ago. The most popular was the barrel seat/cooler. I screwed the rings to each wooden stave, cut the wood between the top two rings, added a hinge and a padded seat.
Inside was a large plastic bucket, sitting in Styrofoam insulation.
The main drawback was it would only hold about a dozen beer with ice!

A dozen, that’s all…LOL! Yeah, I’ve seen some real nice pieces done from barrels. Always looking for something different.

Nice top. I know it would kill the purists of the group but I think I would stain the barrel to a color in the top to complement it.
